@kukulong10: i am trying step 1, but it stuck <waiting for device> after i key in fastboot getvar cid and fastboot getvar mid. i've check my device is connected via adb.

i tried leedroid ics with xe kernel, it is ultra smooth. i remove and reinstall all the applications, so far none of them fc / restart. only smart app protector is giving me problem, that i have to manually enable it upon reboot. exchange mail works fine, camera works fine, dialer works fine, so for me it is pretty stable as daily driver. i am having problem with music player detecting my songs anyway.

overlooked one of your question earlier, ya nandroid backup covers everything of your phone. your app + user data.

i tried virtuous 1.3.0, pretty early release which is great in performance. stable too. i saw them releasing 1.4.2 today, might worth trying.

i re-install htc driver but still, stuck at <waiting for device>. sourcing for solution now.

solution:
1. boot into bootloader (volume down + power button) or connect phone to pc via usb, in adb type : adb reboot-bootloader
2. you're now in bootloader
3. type fastboot getvar cid, you'll see cid:HTC_044 (my case)
4. type fastboot getvar mid, you'll see mid: PG5813000 (my case)

does anyone know how to print screen without any 3rd party apps? i dunno how i touch and press the phone and suddenly the phone just print screen by itself!

kukulong, u turn ur phone back to stock to update firmware and unlocked/root it again? 

We only need to do 1 time rite? after that , any ROM flashing,kernel flashing also no need superCID again rite?

Any of you guys using Google Music? Just installed it and very impressed. Used this guide (http://www.engadget.com/2011/11/19/how-to-use-google-music-from-anywhere-yes-outside-of-the-unit/) to make it work. Now am transferring all my mp3 to cloud storage.

hello guys....just asking for a remedy for my sensation XE....i've just rooted the phone with Android Revolution HD but it seems doesnt work....it says "the first boot may take a while"....but its not what its like....my phone just blank and never turn on...up til now...i havent find a solution based on the internet at droid forum....

im gonna send to the shop i bought tomorrow for repair....but the warranty voids if we have rooted the phone....so do you guys have any solution?....

Is that normal my ram always left only around 100mb? i using leedroid v4.3.0 with kernel bricked16b6. sometime i will feel lag when try to launch an app.

if compared to SGS2, XE win or lose? in term of performance
