Apparently you're able to change region once but I've not tested it.
You can however use a US account on a SG console. Only difference is that if you're buying MS points or gold membership, you should make sure that it is usable on the gamertag as they can be region locked. Quite a lot of local users have US gamertags. |

QUOTE(goskype @ Oct 12 2011, 11:24 AM) Yes you can do migration of region, but it can only be done ONCE per lifetime of the GT.So if MS suddenly introduce official MY GT and you've already made the change on your GT (eg: to SG GT) then you're out of luck. So it's not highly recommended, unless you'd see that you've progress veeeeeery long on your previous GT. . QUOTE(goskype @ Oct 12 2011, 11:24 AM) Yes.Btw, if you're into purchasing of arcade games / games on demand on xbox live, games are priced accordingly depending on region. And for us in malaysia, the point cards also priced differently as for US or SG account. This post has been edited by EatMe: Oct 12 2011, 02:58 PM |

Thanks a lot for your Answers and I got one more question if I buy a Region free Xbox game e.g Call of Duty and download the US market place DLC will it work?So if MS suddenly introduce official MY GT and you've already made the change on your GT (eg: to SG GT) then you're out of luck. For region-free games and DLCs (e.g. map pack) you can download from anywhere.Unfortunately, download packs of newer Call of Dutys are region-locked. Although the COD disc itself is region-free, the downloads aren't. The region of download follows your gamertag region. So if you have US GT, you'll have to use US VPN.
