Guys, some answers needed. What is the relationship between baseband, kernel and ROM? Is S2 memory card hot-swappable? Does car charger with 1A rating can used safely for S2?

I'll give it a try ont he memory card swappable question.

Yes, you can slot one micro SD card in the SGS2. However, you need to remove the battery and the slot is right there at the upper mid section (left side) of the SGS2. It's supports up to 32GB (if I'm not mistaken).

So normally how you transfer data such as song and video to your phone? The traditional way is to put the memory card into card reader. But since it is not hot-swappable, it will be a nuisance. If you say using USB cable directly plug into PC, then when file is being transferred, is the phone operate-able?

Baseband is your modem which controls your phone and wireless.

But I see some people is talking about flashing the baseband. What is it for?
