it depends right? if you have extra cash better use it. but if don't have, can try other option. but need to manage your cc usage properly. don't want to be declared bankrupt at the age of 26!

I would say such a display is a non-issue at all. As earlier posted, some users are just too picky and just want to look for issues - and imagine most of the time you have to look for it to see

its been a week since i use this phone..need to ask something..how to change the lock screen, and also how to display battery life percentage rather than just a battery logo on the top bar?..do i need custom rom to do that?

once the APN type is change to MMS the select option will be gone. that's normal.
The APN type you need to change is on the mobile internet.
Select MMS only for both mobile internet and MMS settings.
Enable data packet and try sending MMS. it should work.

You use 3G or 2G setting for your celcom.?

Oh sorry, i was reading from del_pierrio10 actually but the reason is quite the same. For try delete all you network setting. Then use set as default and see whether your APN come back or not. If not, either use *100# dialler code or manually set it until you get back your network icons. By now you should have 2 setting, one for internet, one for mms. After testing all mms can be sent/received., delete your internet APN leaving your mms APN only.Your icon will dissapear. It will come back when you send/received mms ONLY. But make sure you enable you data network. Try it :-)

Why you reboot your phone?

You always switch your phone on and off mehh.?
Did you test send/received mms although you 3G/H icon is not shown? Try it first, the icon will only come when you received or sending mms. After that the icons will disappear again. But like i said, make sure your data network is enable. If disable, mms cannot be sent or received

duuuh meant the icon come back or mms cannot send/received again? AFAIK once you can receive or send mms then you shouldn't have any problem as long as you data network enable.

Did your mms APN still there inside Access Point Names or it gone also when you on back your phone?

That's weird. You put your APN manually or by dialler *100# .??

Last try., delete all you APN and clear any default setting. Call Maxis centre for new MMS and Internet setting then you save it as your new default setting :-)

there's a 'Reset to default' option under the menu of the APN page. i triggered it last time when i lost mms and internet connection and it worked.
