where r u from?
first up.. get a wallpaper that will make da defect stands out.. (for my case, i stumbled upon them when using grey wallpaper)
then bring to any samsung mobile shop (I dun recommend sending it directly to service centre bcoz not all defects warrant a claim, instead when u bring to a representative, it has a higher chance of bypassing that coz they would somehow change it for customer's satisfaction)
i know those pesky pixels are noticeable...make sure get a backdrop that will contrast da defect

I'm actually using the Mugen 3200 mah battery which I ordered direct from their website:

http://www.mugen-power-batteries.com/samsu...ttery-door.html

If anyone wants me to benchmark the battery you have to send me a small tutorial on what to do since this is my first android phone.

Great! Just state what ROM/Kernel/Modem you're running. Then fully charge, use as usual and go to settings -> about phone -> battery usage when your phone reaches 30-20%.

Press home + power for a screen shot of that screen. Then click on the graph for a bigger graph, screenshot that too. Next, back to the small graph and click on display, sceenshot that.

Finally post the pics up here. It's sure as heck isn't scientific but it'll give us an indication of battery performance.

If you have plenty of time though, loop a movie and leave it until it gets the battery warning. Then go take shots of the three graphs. This is the more objective way.

Either way I'll be happy with the data. Although "slighly less then twice of the original battery" sounds suspiciously like 2400-2600mah to me.

ahh.. ok.. will post screenies in the next couple of days.

edit: I kinda agree, was hoping for more from this battery.

should be at least more than 2 days right? the back cover also not bad. but the website informed that the battery is out of stock already. the earliest shipment for new stock is 20 October, huhuhu

The back cover is actually quite nice as far as I'm concerned. It's got a slightly rubberised feel to it and since it sticks out from the rest of the phone, it obviously comes to contact with everything and so far no real signs of damage (it's 2 weeks+ old)
