Just for sharing, if your battery is low (notification warning sounded for the first time) you won't be able to take picture. A pop-out window will indicates the low battery status. I just found out yesterday's evening.

I didn't know that until it happened to me. I thought of snapping some random ceiling shots. Noted on the disablement of camera function when your battery dips low. I thought I can trigger happy until the last drop.

Data? Erm...meaning to say?

Mine is stock camera. No fancy camera application or custom ROM.

Mine was jumbled up when I slotted the SIM card. For example, it used to be Joey Christensen, when it's in SGS2 it's Christensen Joey. I'm not too bothered about this because it's based on the norm of first name and given name. For the contact pictures, I'm doing it manually though.

Oh...we've been separated by the "G". Hahaha. Heard it's not so great going for our "G" guys.

To add in, for females, the SGS2 is kind of large but it's still can be held with single hand. The superb 4.3" Super AMOLED+ screen is hard to resist for girls. It's pretty much mesmerising for them (the screen of course)

Samsung Note is too large and I'd must say the 4.3" is acceptable for female users. I've asked a few female colleagues too and most of them say it's a "Aye" for SGS2 and "Nay" for Samsung Note. Anyway, this does not depicts anything but it's some of the feedback received.

I surveyed about the Zenus casing too and, boy, oh boy, it's a looker! Appreciate that you've posted pictures for sharing. Combination of white and carbonised mid section of the casing is simply too IRRESISTIBLE! I hate you for poisoning me!

To add on, your custom made wallpaper looks FANTASTIC! Maybe you want to make another with BIOHAZARD signage as well. Haha! Great stuff!

Wait a sec, is yours originally in white set? Or you replaced the screen protector and the casing?

For sharing, there's a accessories shop at the top level of VIVAZ HOME, Cheras. They are selling original casing (polycarbonate and leather) from Zenus and SGP. If anyone interested, you guys can head there and have a look.

By the way, is the iGeneration an authorised seller for Samsung accesories?

For technical matters, it's best to leave it to the bigger brothers/sisters here. For what I know, Samsung is very aggressive in churning out model after model. It's good in some way for us, the end users. We are very much spoilt for choices.

Maybe you can re-quote your question(s) again. Since it's blazing fast in this thread, they could've overlooked your posting.

I totally forgotten about the user manual or anything. However, I'm sure the English version is printed. You are skeptical if yours an original set or AP set?

Let's say you are getting an original set...

Step One: If you are getting from the authorised Samsung dealer, the box is usually sealed with two SME blue sticker.

Step Two: Cross reference the box serialised number and your physical set. For the box serialised number, it is printed on a white sticker (together with the barcoding and such).

Step Three: Fire up your smartphone..Press SETTINGS>Scroll down until the bottom, ABOUT PHONE>Tap on it, look for STATUS, click on it and you can check the IMEI

The IMEI should be tally ho with the serialised number. Good luck!

I didn't get mine from Subang. Since it's been a while SGS2 is out there, better to get it from authorised dealers. Do whatever checking that you possibly could and enjoy your brand new shiny set! Once the screen is switched on, the kick will comes in! Enjoy!

So far at my work place, there's only two people using SGS2. There's two using Samsung Ace, one using Samsung Galaxy Mini. That's what I've know. Majority is using iPhone4, one using iPhone 3GS.

Samsung is still "rare" and that makes me feel good. LOLZ!

I got mine couple weeks back and damage done was RM1,990 (cash and carry basis) I'm not sure the current pricing. Bought it and never look back. I'm sure there are others that bought at a much premium price when it was released.

I'm not sure if this is helpful...try out ZDbox. I got it from The Market.

The outlook of the SGS2 is good enough. Wait till you see the screen. It's like seducing you and waiting for you to touch it! Oh wait...this sounded a little bit off. Once you've seen it, you'll know what I mean. Don't forget to calibrate the screen brightness.

Xperia is a good choice. For my case, I've been setting my eyes on SGS2 and well, got it and as they say, the rest is history. Samsung's been offering quite a number of models for its consumers and it's a good thing for us. The battle is still raging between Samsung and Apple. From lawsuit to a clown in our thread (last I read he was sent to Bora Bora Island)

Since your display is being switched on and you are doing this and that, I'd say it's good enough. Initially I wanted to reply you but I reluctant as it would better to be justified with figures or some sort. Maybe a percentage or number to represent the matter being highlighted.

I agree with Fallenangelz that one should not be greedy when it comes to your SGS2 juice. From my point of view (non technical view), it's good enough based on your usage descriptions.
