CM7 camera and phone/contacts have always sucks. It will not get any better to the level you find on samsung roms unless you use alternative apps from market. Back when I was using HD2, I used CM7 mainly because I lack internal storage. Now on SGS2 with so much internal storage, customized samsung roms seems alot better than CM7. I downloaded build 80 yesterday but just cannot bring myself to face CM7 at the moment. The only good thing i can think off by going back to CM7 is the theme manager. Other useful stuff from CM7 are already available on customized samsung roms especially if you use jkay themes.
lol, this is the 1st time i use cm7, just to try out how the battery performs. if it's not impressive then will switch back to Leomar.
yes, i miss JKay and Leomar Kitchen;) GVideoTalk and CallRec are a must on my s2

CM7 is too bland for me..
MIUI is too iphoneish..
Custom rom development seem slow down now...
Product cycle for smartphone seem shorter now...
so far I have tried Villian, Cognition, MIUI and CM7...
try Leomar with its Kitchen apps, real easy!

Just for sharing, if your battery is low (notification warning sounded for the first time) you won't be able to take picture. A pop-out window will indicates the low battery status. I just found out yesterday's evening.
i thought all custom roms will solve this low battry cut off issue?
