Thanks for the reply....btw Im a full time phone user which I will spend half of the day on phone
The main problem im afraid is the overheat issue...Did some research, saw some users said 1st batch S2 easily get hot...  hmm.gif

Other than that,is there anymore small problem with this phone?

I bought my phone on the launching day in Malaysia so it consider the first batch. And i did that 58°C test myself. So dont worry.. SGSII is more robust than what you think :-)
Just make sure you do a screen test as you might get a defect screen. Watch for dead pixel and heavy yellowish tint. If quite blueish then no problem but try avoid yellowish one.

1) Quite hot/warm easily - yes. Very hot/overheating - no. I tested 58°C for 5 hours non-stop - result no problem to the phone.
2) Depend - very heavy user - 6 hours surfing using 3G. One forummer use as dumbphone can tahan up to 8 days. :-))
So now..can track and locate already o_O

ok since i'm free come i help you,

G version
benchmark 10% less
but currently more games are compatible with it
because the graphics chip used is older version and not the samsung version.
Even so the performance shouldnt be any way worst than non-G
has root, so it solves most of the problem
but cant flash any custom roms at the moment

non-G
using the exynos and mali-400 gpu
lesser games that support the mali-400 graphics chip, dont ask why, its too technical
unless devs start supporting it, its hard for certain games, nevertheless more games are being ported
G version is the first to come out, so it has tons of custom roms/kernal tweaks, if you're not a fan of them, then it wont bother you.

any questions just ask

small problem? yeap there is: you will start to hate the rest of the smartphones for being so small and slow after you use sgs2 icon_rolleyes.gif

ok for real now =P (the above is actually true)

1) hot/overheat? NO. yes it will be a little warm when browsing or playing video but that is PERFECTLY NORMAL since the phone is so thin and its material disperses heat very quickly

2) small little pink patch when you take a pure white picture under low light condition. some doesn't have it but mine does

3) under heavy usage the battery will probably dried out within half a day. that is PERFECTLY NORMAL as well since it has dual-core processor and a true multitasking device

If you really..really..kaki flashing custom custom roms..then the G version is NOT for you since at the moment NO custom rom available. Other than that..nothing much different between the G and non-G version :-)

Was excited to hear this. Then the reviews say it's 883 MB (which is fine, actually) and you need to buy "energy points" to keep playing. That's a bit lame. Oh well.

err... its non-G version to come out, next time sleep earlier ah laugh.gif laugh.gif

one more thing: G version now selling at 1.6k smtg, G version at around 1.8k. not tech freak n lesser budget, go for G version. custom rom freak, then surely non-G version.

I have uploaded beta6.

changes:
- initramfs modifications to solve haptic feedback problems in AOSP roms
- disable second cpu when the screen is of regardless of the frequency
- second cpu can be active at frequencies <= 200MHz
- some memcopy tweaks & speed optimizations

So i think we do not need dual core scripts anymore...
