Lol standby mode can effect battery???
Bro, even for every hour one sleeps, 53 calories are burned. Same thing goes to SGS2 battery. Standby mode/Sleep mode...it'll consume a little bit of juice.SAMSUNG GALAXY S II Official thread V16, Be a SMART user - Pls read Page 1 first

Hi Sorry for noob question. I've been trying to search for the earlier posts but couldn't get any light.
I went to digital mall just now and there's this Samsung authorised dealer selling Galaxy S2 white at RM1950. I went to other shop they only selling RM1750 for S2 white and they said warranty under samsung. Both G version. Which one should I buy from? How to differentiate between original and water set? p/s: i used an iphone 4 but i lost it but my contract still going. wanted to try Samsung. |

QUOTE(peterbrutus @ Oct 16 2011, 03:34 PM) That's why until now i have not bought the phone. Why is it a huge difference there? how to differentiate which one is original? Is it sealed with SME stickers? Even if it's not sealed, it could be original set that the shop bought from Samsung authorised reseller. The best bet is to follow the steps that were shared a few times. Serialised number check, IMEI check, the send-to-check check...you know the drill) |

The easiest way to identify the original set is by looking at the SME stickers on the box. Btw the rrp now is 1899. Just get anything below that price. |

Oh, Hacre's back? *rushes to XDA*
And to the guy using ROMManager to install CM7, you'll have better luck with normal CWM Recovery. That was how I installed CM7, no issues except market crashes which was solved by resettting language. I ran back to VR about a few hours afterwards though. CM7 was TOO lean for me lol.
