help, im just bought my samsung galaxy s2

im using hotlink prepaid, when I turn off my wifi, the phone keeps on sucking my credits. how to avoid this ? thanks

turn off data packet long press power button. press data network mode.
Or go to Setting>Wireless and network>Mobile networks> Untick Use packet data

Urgent help. Broke my phone screen. total lost for the gorilla glass. Who had repaired before and how much? Safe to repair by normal repair shop or better go service centre?

price range from RM300-RM500 depending on the damage. Going to service center is advisable but ask them if changing the screen will void warranty or not.

Go SETTINGS>WIRELESS & NETWORK>MOBILE NETWORK SETTINGS>Untick Use packet data and untick Data Roaming

Third party charging me from 500 to 650.

Ur quote is based on previous ppl that repair? Total damage for the screen. Touch still okay but the glass is gone.

A few pages back there's someone said about RM550+-. I could have mistaken but I think I saw that posting couple of pages back.

yupe. price are based from previous user who sent it to SC and third party.
as stated before, it all depends on total damage.

In his release note, 1.8 is suppose to run deadline i/o as default.

connected to kies and it told me my phone has an update.. i did it and it went back to 2.3.3 wtf..

3rd party.rm550 at a shop in old klang road.original set.touch screen n lcd comes as a set.my freind repair his at there

Just change it to whatever suites you with no frills or voltage control.

Wah if third party also RM550 then better check with samsung especially IF they continue give warranty after repair.
