QUOTE(KennyKB @ Nov 25 2011, 08:54 PM) Or just reboot your phone. A soft reset doesn't do anything except wipe out your settings and accounts. I rebooted my phone after the update, didn't work. Soft reset, it worked. You can't be too sure with things until you tried it. Of course you are more than welcome to do hard reset right away but not everyone is keen on the idea of wiping everything clean from their phone without exhausting all the options. Just saying

Speaking about video at 720p, just to throw in another prespective, even videos taken by N8 using the beta camera app seemed to give trouble to N9's playback ability due to higher fps and possibly different codec profile, it shows how much problem you would face on daily basis regarding video playback.

QUOTE(arsaa @ Dec 5 2011, 03:33 PM) hey I got the same respond as well when I went to NCC Amcorp Could it be there are batches configured like that or what? Added on December 5, 2011, 3:37 pmQuestion: 1. which dropbox client is the best? I saw there are 3 apps; Dropian, File Sink, DropN9 2. I tried fMobi mobile recentlt, sometime my status update or comment doesn't post properly. when I type in "Hey good morning bla bla bla", sometime it only posted "Hey good" and "morning bla bla bla " is left behind inside the reply box. Anybody experience this? Dropian takes too long to launch. Almost 30 seconds to launch the app. File sink never used before. DropN9 is functional but UI is too complicated, if Dropian improves the launch time, I think Dropian would be the easiet to use. fMobi has a bug where it will not register the word that is being "underlined" in auto correct mode. You have to press space bar and exit from the "underline" condition after that press send.

QUOTE(KennyKB @ Dec 8 2011, 10:59 AM) Do you use Microsoft for Exchange? I read somewhere the problem is due to MfE but can't remember which forum. I don't use MfE and haven't encountered any password prompt problem. I use MfE as my work depends on it, the password prompt thing never happened to me until yesterday so I feel it's pretty random the bug though i did installl some new apps from nokia store which I try delete afterwards, didn't work as well.

QUOTE(D-Frog @ Dec 9 2011, 03:11 PM) answer the first question please,guys... If you could not afford to buy original apps then just don't use the app then. Alternatively, don't use a smartphone afterall you should not be able to afford a smartphone anyway. Anyone using MeeCast by the way? Downloading now. Seemed like more info pack than accuweather

QUOTE(aspire2oo6 @ Dec 10 2011, 12:53 AM) If you are buying phone for OS better get android or iOS. If you are buying for simplicity and unique then get the Nokia N9. If you prefer to be common android is better. actually, i think it is better just to get iPhone, i still dont think android is for any regular Joe, it ia juat too fiddly and messy and chaotic. I personally have seen how a rather tech savvy uncle struggle using an android phone. Added on December 10, 2011, 8:40 amBy the way, i think you can do wireless file transfer via this app call SDK connection once you enabled developers mode. QUOTE(KennyKB @ Dec 10 2011, 11:38 AM) Struggle to use an Android phone? You make it sound so difficult. My primary school nephew can just use it just fine. For app centric users, go for ios or Android. Meego will be an "app desert" for the foreseeable future. it is difficult for someone that has already lost fluidity in understanding new operation paradigm, even he comes from tech backgroud like a middle aged uncle especially when operating paradigm as complex as android. The option/meni button for example is not always applicable to all apps, some apps just discard this hardware button and decided to implement its own settibg button.

Added on December 11, 2011, 9:40 pmBy the way, did anyone experience constant GPS signal loss ever since updated to PR 1.1. I noticed that I experienced this problem today when I tried to use Drive first time ever after updated to PR 1.1, previously gps works absolutely no problem of this sort. Added on December 11, 2011, 10:19 pmHard resetting my phone, god how long does this process take? It's sooooo longggggg. I got this Anti Clockwise Circle Arrow image going on now. How long am I expected to wait? This post has been edited by nebousuke: Dec 11 2011, 10:19 PM

QUOTE(aspire2oo6 @ Dec 11 2011, 11:47 PM) try not to restore back your data. After update to PR1.1 never had such issue ever The thing about hard reset is that, It doesn't seemed to wipe out all the data in the phone, some apps are still there. And the phone seemed to remember my Nokia account, when I try to put in my Nokia account login details eventhough I have deleted all accounts prior to hard reset. I did not restore my contact yet and tested it out, still the same problem, I am resorting to reflashing the firmware now.

QUOTE(aspire2oo6 @ Dec 12 2011, 12:13 AM) did you use the clear device method or reset method? I was recommending clear device method after update. No, i did device wipe out first. Did not work, still prompt password for all account. Then I do firmware reflash right now. Seemed to have solved the problem finally. Did not prompt for password anymore. Looks like that's only way to rebuild the corrupted SQL data base on the phone as device wipeout seemed to leave some apps on the device too. Added on December 12, 2011, 10:24 amI wonder if you guys are using this to connect to msn and ym now. QUOTE(D-Frog @ Dec 12 2011, 07:02 PM) He should be like you..calm and peaceful,polite...I really like how the way you handle stuff..he Polite? to you? why shoud I? You are a parasite trying to rip off developer's good work by asking for warez. Since you can't afford to buy app then pretty much you shouldn't be able to afford to buy a smart phone which is going to be 1000 times more expensive than apps. Added on December 12, 2011, 11:29 pmQUOTE(drexar @ Dec 12 2011, 05:38 PM) At least we can email them to suggest an integrated 3G and Skype Call for MeeGo I think kontorri's blog made it clear that 3G calling is not coming from Nokia's future firmware, you just best wish that peregrine implement skype call as soon as possible.
