if you are worried about 'toughness' of the sciences, just opt for the arts....

I would say go for science stream.

You will still be able to catch up in your tertiary education if you decide to go for arts later.

1) Subjects doesn't matter. For me, I took science stream for the sake of general knowledge. I get to know the surface of everything, from Newton's law to body parts to NaOH. I've forgotten most of it but at least I know they exist.

2) Since you will be able to change to arts later on in your tertiary education, the prospect is infinite. But an arts student will find it difficult to change since science subjects are generally more difficult.

3) It depends on what you want to learn in the end. Some went pure science, some did not take up Biology, etc as some find these subjects harder to comprehend.

it's up to you....if you love science..better go in the pure science stream..if you hate it..do not ! seriously ! you will find it hard to study them..it also depends on your PMR result..like in my school..you need to have at least a minimum one A and one B for maths and science or vice versa.

like me,i'm now in form 5 (pure science stream)..and the subject that i learn are of course BM,BI,Maths,Pend Islam, and history...and for the elective : Biology,Chemistry,Physics, and Additional Maths.

About the career, like i said pure science offers a wide range of career opportunities that is related to science ( Engineers, doctors, Etc..) and lots of more...OBVIOUSLY pure science is tougher because you will be dealing with 3 science subject and 2 maths. good luck ! =)

You can always opt for Science stream and take an art subject as an elective like Accounts. That's what I did since my school offers this package.

TS, it is an excellent choice to decide ur stream now. Many and i mean too many students just go for the stream that was suggested/forced just because they think that stream offers a better salary/future. But, it may not happen in that way. Some engineering graduates do end up working in office/bank/etc or doctors who gave up, thinking that medical field is too boring or stressful.

Now I knw its hard for u to decide which is ur type of field since ur still young and haven't done much research yet. I myself ended up in science stream bcoz my results were good. Gladly, science is totally my thing. Science pretty much involves a lot on critical thinking, logic, rational, analytic, problem solving, maths and memory. Here, u will study many things on how our world works scientifically, mathematically and by understanding. Personally, I love science bcoz of the vastness of knowledge and the usefulness when applied in our daily life. If ur searching for high pay jobs, look no further than business. But, just stick to ur interest. I'm not really sure about arts but I think they r mainly about utilising ur creativity, views, opinion, communication, psychology and etc. Maybe some others can explain to u about arts stream. Gd luck and study hard & smart for ur future laugh.gif laugh.gif

If you like science except for the body parts which requires memorisation skill,

choose sub science

yup, science stream provide more options for u in future. science stream can study science related course such as engineering, medicine, pharmacy, and of course they can choose to study IT, law, accounting..... But if you r art stream, u cannot choose to study sciences related course in future, means it will limit your choice.....

however, its up to you whether u interest or not, and also can cope or not....
