yeah...mine was at 2 months....
Over the period of 10months he fell a total of 5 times.
No worries, as long he is behaving normal, no vomit and etc....its ok.
Babies can handle falling more than us....but make sure u dont panic and make him more stressout.

@mIssfROGY,
Don't make it a habit lah wei...... Also, put pillows on the floor near the bed so that he doesn't fall and hit his head.

I think as long as the baby doesnt vomit, should be ok.
My friend's baby climbed his cot and fell. The face bengkak but still ok.
But try to make sure there is at least sumone around to monitor the baby.

no sweat peepz.....smile.gif
He now knows not to go near the borders anymore. He totally avoids those edges at 6th month...yeah i was going to put pillows and all de...preparing to buy alot of coby haus & even mattresses to put at all floors too & helmet also....but somehow we realised now he just looks down at the floor and crawl back inwards.

smile.gif Yeah as the chinese saying goes, neva drop never big.

P.S: i should be clearer....it was a period between 2th Month - 6th Month and the thing is when he dropped, it was at different places with different people....so it was kinda unavoidable with some of the drops sad.gif but he learned .....to my surprised and delight.

And yeaps...3/5 times i think hit his head unfortunately. I was abit frantic also... rclxub.gif

It's pretty normal...and it's part and parcel of growing up. My son fell down a couple of times..and bumped his head. Of coz I felt like the worst mommy in the world!

yeah, feel like the worst dad in the world when my son fall

my son is 4 months old. he already know how to roll and learning to crawl a bit. so i put him in a 'pillow fortress' on my bed while i go and ready up his bathtub.

i just went around 20 seconds then i heard something fall. he cried but after i pick him up, rub his hands and forehead a couple of minutes, he stopped crying and smile and laugh.

quickly bring him to a specialist and the doctor who checks him says he's fine. just monitor in 48 hours for vomiting, constant sleeping or behavior disorder. i was like, 'phew'

some people do say to me, 'omg you're horrible, etc. etc' but the doctor told me to relax, shit happens. your son will be ok. we learn from our mistakes.

Oh minejust happened yesterday. My 6 mths old bb falls from a 2 feet tall bed. She was asleep next to her father so surrounded her w 2 pillow height then i do my house work. Not long after i heard her crying and saw my hubby is comforting her. My hubby heard the loud sound "GOK" then found her on the floor crying. Checked her head it seems no hurt just a slight scratch at her chest. Thank god!

Immediately i get ready w her playpen. Will not let her sleep on the bed without anyone watching her anymore.

I think everyone is most concerned about the head. Really need to barricade places up with more pillow and bolsters.

i fell asleep once while taking care of my lil bro, that time 3 months i think. he crawl our of the pillow wall i 'built' and fell directly face down on the ground, lucky he dint cry! i think i was 6/7 that time, mum was busy cooking and i dint want her to find out so i quicky ran and took a hanky and put some warm rice inside and wrap everything up massage the bengkak area, lol. thank god he calmed down alittle but still giving me the ' im gonna cry' face. lucky after few days the bump went away and mum also din scold me even tho she found out lol.

Yeah...my son when he was a baby, fell off the bed a few times....then when he was 1 or 2 years old....jumps on the bed (springy, nice to jump), and falls flat on his face on the floor like a katak...doh.gif...

Just make sure baby no vomits or other abnormal symptom...try to put pillows or mattress around edge of bed on the floor if possible.

Yup, that happens to my son as well. But doc says to monitor for 24 hrs. If baby doesn't vomits or uncomfortable, he is alright.

Never leave your baby alone without attentive. Is very very dangerous. But if something not serious, you need to be calm as your baby learns from you. Just don't over protective.
