Hey guys we're planning on renting a BF3 server but we would like to know how well you ping to it. Please reply to this thread on what the average latency you are getting. Also please list down what ISP you are using
IP Address: 216.12.196.114
Thanks in advance

QUOTE(slickz @ Oct 10 2011, 01:49 PM) Ping from office at TTDI @ 87-88 ms.... Standard hypernia beta servers from mmy Unifi 10Mbps I get average around 80-100 ms. Provided bf3 doesnt stutter anymore for me in the final version, I might even help to be a VIP member. Yeah but this Hypernia server is based in Singapore, hoping you could help us Pingtest when you get home just to be doubly sure 8)

QUOTE(MjMax15 @ Oct 10 2011, 02:13 PM) this ip address 216.12.196.114 located where? last i remember was joining hypernia but in aus server.. ping average got around 150-200ms, using 1mbps home line TMNet streamyx just now pinging got 270-300ms my office line 2mbps Located in SG but with Softlayer carrier. Hypernia partnered with them. Last I heard that Softlayer doesn't peer well with Malaysian isps so I guess that's causing the high latency 8( But please try to ping when you get home using Streamyx, we had some users that pings really well to that IP Thanks for the inputs though This post has been edited by inque: Oct 10 2011, 02:21 PM

Hey guys just got in touch with Hypernia They are requesting for your traceroutes. If possible could you provide me screenshots of your traceroutes and I will forward all to them to hypernia It seems that some of you are getting rerouted to the states then back to SG, thus having the high ping Thanks again for your inputs For your reference this is my Tracer route from the Philippines This post has been edited by inque: Oct 10 2011, 03:54 PM
