EAV6 rom has all gapps included in its zip (built in), no need to install separately.

Some user might don't know this, but it is important to sign in, or "activate" ur phone with a google account on first boot, or initial boot (first boot after flashing) in order to get google apps. An certain apk will activate only on first boot after singining in that manage all the google app initializer.

Note that this is for google app integrated rom such as the eav6.

Depends on the ROM itself, but for most ROM, Cyanogenmod based specially, signing in your account will bring the setup wizard, and will started the initial market app launch.. So yeah, basically you can sign in now and enable google apps, but for best result in the future, try signing in on the first boot.

Try and press the menu key nad reset to default apn, most Cyanogenmod based ROM (EAV6, MyGingerB, etc) have an up to date APN setting built in. If the reset to default won't work, try the TS post, or consult to your nearest Celcom center if all fails.

hmmm..I'm weighing between this phone and Mi410. Just when I thought I'm dead set for Mi410 the V4 thread of this phone showed up. I like Mi410 for its slim profile, big display and powerful spec. But Mi300 on the other hand won my heart with its community, dirt cheap, established development..hmm, decision, decision~

This phone can play video right? can play .mkv smoothly with support of codec? this might be deal or no deal for me.

That depends on the resolution and bit rate of the video but so far i've tried it can't play a 720p 1.5mbps mkv .
The MI410 will be able to play it provided that use a proper player for it like Dice Player which has hardware acceleration even for files in the mkv container.

probably not watching movies but those one piece, bleach anime..watching 'em on the go. Everyday go to work by bus and normally got like 30 minutes free time while waiting going there and coming back from. At the moment using HTC touch reading manga. I don't have dvd player btw. watch all movies & videos on my PC smile.gif

Added on October 12, 2011, 2:53 pmplus, probably will be using heavily 3-4 hours only a day. During work phone normally only on stand-by mode. So, even the battery life only 5 hours day or until at least I reach home, its okay already..

ive owned mi410 once, a week actually,
imho, the phone is good except when you play long time with it & the screen getting warm, then only the problem surface... it will not respond to ur touch, & sometime gone crazy,
satellite lock on also veryyyy slow
go check mi410 thread @ lowyat..
rom support oso cannot compare mi300

depends on your usage, what did you do for the 2hours usage?

But 30% battery for 2hours does feels like a lot of drain, what kernel did you use? Also, did you wipe the battery stat after flashing your ROM?
