already flashed to 7.1.0 stable.. so far so good.. no wrong screen rotation, more fluid and smooth.. will be review bout wifi and bluetooth connection later.. and of cause review bout battery life..

this CM 7.1.0 is it the same with EA V6???

yes please do, im also very interested in the batt life, cos when im using eaV5 the batt cannot last long, only about 1 day, . Now back on phantom....

Is the touchscreen working? The kernel can sometime causes the touchscreen going crazy but that's on 7.1.0 RC..
I tested the kernel from 7.1.0 stable just now and it still causes the touch screen going crazy for a brief moment every 6 minutes, but that's on mygingerb 1.0.2.

How's yours? I mean 7.1.0 stable, no touch screen problem?

Hmm, I doubt any gingerbread ROM can give more than 1 day and several 10+ hours. Froyo and gingerbread are different version so battery life will not be the same. (note that phantom is a Froyo ROM)

i flashed the v7.1.0 stable and the touchscreen doesn't work.

i prefer use custom kernel or other 3rd party kernel than using the default cm 7 kernel

my touchscreen works perfectly.. im hard reset and wipe dalvik n batt before flash from ev5..

idk its same with v6 or not coz im just using ev5 before..

nice new unlock screen style.. they named Ring where ur can unlock to any direction ur wanna.. idk if this feature include on ev6..

tried to replace with ubuntu #3 kernal but getting loopboots.. so reflash without wipe will solve everything..

about batt life.. pics say thousand words..

Hmm, I guess the stock CM7.1.0 kernel touchscreen problem effects certain devices only. Presumably newer hardware rev?

And yeah, stock CM7.1.0 will bootloop pretty much with every non CM kernel out there. Even older ones can sometimes cause boot loop. It need a custom app data check script to work with 3rd party kernel.
In case of bootloop, I recommend to create a default CM7.1.0 boot.img replacement zip package, in case of boot loop, saves from reflashing all over again.

I've tested the ROM and revert back to mygingerb 1.0.2, touch screen problem is killing me
Although the wifi fix for 2.6.35.x kernel is nice though.

edgar did have 2.6.35.11 custom kernel, but he do not recommend to upgrade unless you want better wifi. the problem with his kernel is the volume key unlock, led lights as far as i experienced does not work (got other problems too, but i forgot). and also the 'fluidity' (according to edgar) and battery life is worse than 2.6.32.9.
