QUOTE(Acid_RuleZz @ Nov 19 2011, 05:50 PM) Yeah it gets warmer with AMD card. Switch to Intel if u're not gaming or using intensive 3D work. thanks alot... most likely i'll use intel most of the time since i'm not into gaming... juz alot of movies watching...Added on November 19, 2011, 7:31 pmA new official AMD driver from HP is on the way. From the version number, its from Catalyst 11.8. It also included a new graphics for DV6-6CXX series which i think confirmed what lee sifu posted that HD7690M is a rebadge of HD6770M and HD7470M is a rebadge of HD6490M. CODE AMD Radeon Graphics Driver Version: 8.882.2.3000 CODE [Devices] PCI\VEN_1002&DEV_6760="Radeon (TM) HD 6490M" PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_0116="Mobile Intel(R) HD Graphics" PCI\VEN_1002&DEV_6740="Radeon (TM) HD 6770M" PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_0126="Mobile Intel(R) HD Graphics" PCI\VEN_1002&DEV_6760="Radeon (TM) HD 7470M" PCI\VEN_1002&DEV_6740="Radeon (TM) HD 7690M XT" Also there is a new BIOS coming F.1B. But from the changelog i don't think i will update it. There is no ETA yet for both driver and graphic. But it will be release real soon according to NBR SMod. |

QUOTE(bluebeary @ Nov 21 2011, 04:02 PM) My old XPS M1530 kinda died on me yesterday. Haiz..... I tot it could survive till CNY then only I buy a new one. oh... the microsoft office is home & student edition? if so u can get it cheaper for RM180 at jayacom but it's for 3 users so u can either sell off the other 2 user... unless ur office is oem version... =DAnyway, so I went looking for 6168tx this morning at Digital Mall & nobody has it. I got to dragged my ass all the way to lowyat to search for it. In the end, only mobility square got but don't have ready stock. So, I made a down payment and by tomorrow this hour, I'll be a proud owner of dv6-6168tx :-) The price is $3999 + 199(office) + 3 yrs warranty + carrying case. |

Asus kiosk selling HP product? Bought from Thundermatch The Mines. My friend bought at Thundermatch Lowyat. Thundermatch The Mines still got 1 unit left but display item (they wrap properly and u can bargain a good price since its open box set). welcome to the club! how much u bought urs??p/s: If u go to The Mines branch, when u upgrade RAM u can ask for Lowyat price anyway here's a picture of keyboard cover for dv6 i bought at lowyat... bought it for like RM10 or so... it covers but some keys of dv6 doesnt properly fit like the side arrows, and some function keys above like f5 n f12 doesnt cover properly but otherwise it's sufficient keyboard cover... it's silicon type...
