I'm getting around 30fps in BF3 using default clock values. Is this normal?

DV6-6180US are imported set. Not sure if u can claim warranty with HP Malaysia or not. Also, not sure if u can extend the warranty or not. Maybe you could give HP a call and ask them directly. They never reply my in FB.

core clock 725 and memory clock 800. So I guess it's normal.

In game settings default. Never changed. It's the mission where I get to shoot down an aircraft that is shooting my team with a stinger missile..

Your AA Deferred is off right? Try ingame console tweak.. press "~" while playing and type

And set Shadow to Medium.

So Acid, should i do the same? Disable TubroBoost and Coolsesne? Doesn't that fix the CPU clock at 2.0 instead of 2.8?

coolsense should always put highest... =D it really matters...

Mine is max when it's stationary and optimum when it's mobile...

@acid do u have OpenCL ticked at GPU-Z???

As long as it is DV6-6xxx series, you are more than welcome.


If you don't want to fiddle with CoolSense or ThrottleStop, you can set "Maximum Processor State" in Power Plan to 99%. That will disable TurboBoost.


I have 4 Power Plans.
1. Power Saver
2. TurboBoost with Max Core Park@50%. Pretty much disabled 4 cores so i can get constant TurboBoost@2.6Ghz without using ThrottleStop
3. TurboBoost with Min&Max Core Park@100%.
4. No TurboBoost for gaming.

Nothing wrong with the imported set if you can claim warranty here. More deal breaking imo.

Both USB ports on the left are 3.0. Got "SS USB" symbol underneath it.
