my ride (neo 2006) start from 5k until now 250K+ used only fully syn oil from tesco (shell helix ultra, mobil 1, castrol edge - depends on tesco promotion) and now will change to Total Quartz INEO MC3. Oil change this saturday
Nothing happen all ok, smooth no mkn-mkn minyak. 10k oil change interval pomen bawah pokok style..
I also bought this just now ....its not fully syn right ?
rm60/l? torco SR-1 la dei lol. same price, however 100% fully synthetic API SN GF-5 ILSAC Designation + resource conserving for the xw20 http://eolcs.api.org/brandSearchResults.aspx
can read up some of my personal review via the engine oil review thread (not pinned) in this very sub-forum
susah cari at here... got one xrp rock oil rm79/l...
stalking.. thanks bro..

MoS2 LOW FRICTION MoS2 (molybdenum disulfide) forms a thin layer of high load-bearing lubricant on surfaces exposed to friction and on sliding parts in the engine. The excellent low friction properties of this material lead to lighter engine running, thus inhibiting wear and preventing breakdowns. Results from scientific tests have shown that MoS2 reduces fuel and oil consumption and leads to significantly less wear in the engine. MoS2 Low Friction is available from LIQUI MOLY as an oil additive (added to the motor oil) or as a ready-prepared MoS2 low friction motor oil. In spite of all efforts to polish the surface of the metals mechanically, they still look rough under the microscope (1). This rough ness is made smooth by applying a film of MoS2 lubricant (2) and this ”surface finish” reduces frictional resistance and decreases wear.
nope, their full synthetic doesn't which is odd as hell lol.
so most people just stick with their semi synthetic that comes with MOS2
of course, you CAN buy their full synthetic then add their MOS2 additive. not cheap that way though
Do you know why Liqui Moly does not want to add "moly" to other range of products, especially on those higher standard fully synthetic? Could you please check with your principle and enlighten us? thanks.

no idea, it's best if you mail them directly
ps: i don't sell LM so there's no "principle" so to speak for me.
Maybe I will send email to Liqui Moly and hopefully I will get some answers.
I know the pros and cons of MoS2 and want to know Liqui Moly's stand on adding MoS2 on their products...
PS, thanks for sharing my post
np bro.
my PERSONAL opinion is that the ceramic particles may breakdown if left in the car/EO too long (also not suitable for extended OCI), hence the other lineups, they'd rather not have it premixed and let the consumers decide themselves (via means of oil additive or the better ceratec)

So you also think it is no good to have ceramic or MoS2 in the engine oil?
You were saying the ceramic and MoS2 will break down if left for long in the engine oil, so it is good to sell engine oil and additive separately?
here's what i said:

please don't put words in my mouth yea
whether it actually breaks down or not is unknown. what IS known, is that it can EASILY go 7-9k km without degradation of the engine oil AND performance.
and it is in MY opinion solely on how LM is selling their products and it may or may not be the actually be as i said.

Ok, you are not sure what would happen to ceramic and MoS2 in the engine oil.
