Hi guys,

Thinking to start a thread to list out all the problems which N9 users having...

1. Unable to login to Nokia Account - error: Service Currently Available / Network connection error.
Possible cause: Skipped first time Nokia account login, creation and network setup.
Solution: Go to "Setting" > "Reset" > "Clear Device"

Fuss: bye bye to all of your data and settings, and some apps too.

2. Backup Issue

2.1 After connected to NokiaLink and tried backup and shown EDP_NO_FILE_PERMISSION.
No solution yet.


Possible cause: downloaded third party file manager from OVI.
Solution: NO

2.2 After backup, Memory left 2GB.
Restart phone and lead to problem 2.3
Solution: NO

2.3 After backup and restart phone, unable to backup from Phone or via Nokia Link.
Error Message: "Can't use backup while you're connected to your computer" (Even your phone is not plugged in)

Solution: Reset > Restore Setting

3.0 - Contact List Problem

3.1 - Not able to export all contact at once.
Error Message - No respond
Possible cause - export list including Skpye / FB contact.

3.2 - Export Contact no where to be found. (Normal contact)
Error Message - None
Possible cause - unknown.

3.3 Duplicate contact file in system folder (.vcf)
Error Message - None
Possible cause - unknown.

Guys, I guess I need to clear device for the 3rd time...good luck smile.gif

Well, I don't have this problem. I clear my device yesterday due to sim error and after that still can't read my sim. I skipped login to my Nokia account but when I get my replacement sim, I can still login. Clear device again just now and still can login.

But I seriously wonder if there is any WiFi setting that I can change. Now that I cleared my device again, I can say for sure that N9 can see my 5ghz wifi router at Nokia account login cum creation. But once I go pass the screen, now I can't find it anymore yet again. Is Nokia playing some trick or just a bug?

I got lots of problem with n9 before...but after upgraded the firmware everything its ok now..smile.gif

when i got my n9, it was already on the latest firmware, non of the problems reported here.
