Nope. Employees are the ones who are suffering. Business fellas are still smoking cigars and replenishing their tummies.

So, yes, employers portion should increase. All this while, it was 12 % and above. It should be at least 15%.

Exactly. What's wrong if the money goes to EPF account, considering employers are paying peanuts to their employees?

Employer side should give 20%. Companies who don't want to do this should just close shop or leave Malaysia. Serious.

Are you saying employees, under current economic condition are able to contribute more to EPF?

Hope you realize there's no law that stops you from contributing more to your EPF. You're free to contribute as much as you want. smile.gif

That's why I got no problem with this reform. From Individual, there's no barrier to contribute more. However, employers are often reluctant to provide higher contribution. So yes, increasing it is good for us. rclxms.gif

EPF how many percent ROI? If someone wants to invest somewhere else, now he cannot use that 1% because forced EPF.

You.

teach all 28,000,000 Malaysia population how to save money

THEN talk about reducing EPF composition.

If not, then you, like most of the smart people, are simply "dumbified" by the general masses of Malaysians, who are generally less well educated, less productive, less education level, and have less wealth compared to Singapore.
