^ Kou and Nina... best left unexplored... eveything about 0083 was swept under the carpet by the EF and Titans, even the characters.

About the bullet... it may not be a bazooka shell but it's still 120mm... 12 cm diameter aiming at you, point blank and firing at speeds you can't even see the bullet. And Shiro DID jump out of the way (like a Coordinator ) hence meaning the Zeon chick did aim at him, whether intentionally or not.

Dumb luck indeed... 08th MS team needs more DEATHS !! Michel and Eledor should kick it...

About pilots in love and surviving... well Seabook did And to a lesser extent Usso did too although everybody else kicked it.

CDA = loli haman... well it's good to see her in a non-psychotic way 14 years old only ler... expect some childish tantrums... At least in CDA we got to see some development of a female character, which is often overlooked in other gundam series. I can't think of any other gundams with a better developed female character, maybe just Relena and Fllay. Well not that I like both of them anyway, but at least they were less one-dimensional.



About Nina... well, she came back to find Kou in the end It was left hanging, but there's nothing much to explore anyway... I actually like it that way rather than the happily-ever-after Shiro-Nina.

Keith is Kou's buddy in 0083, a spectacled dude whose piloting skills were one of the crappiest in gundam, possibly along the ranks of Fa and Katz who ewere never true pilots in the first place. If I remembered correctly, the only kill he scored was a fluke hit that he did in the early episodes.

Happy endings, well ok... but 08th MS team needs more deaths !!! It doesn't seem that brutal compared to other series. There wasn't enough bloodbaths...
0079, 0083 we had colony drops... Zeta we had gassings and colony lasers... Even GS we had crazy shit like Cyclops, Genesis, and also Bloody Valentine... GW and GX doesn't show much mass murders though.

To be fair, 08th MS team did show brutality in Kiki's village where the stupid villagers got splattered by anti-personnel shells

Amuro... he's kinda tragic in the first place. In fact, most reluctant heroes in Gundam have tragic experiences.

Be very afraid... the new ZAFT council has ZERO adults and all of them are 20-year-old adolescents. Dearka as council... we'll have parties everyday !! Yzak as council member... at least that is still bearable, but even the hot headed ZAFT loyalist got mind controlled by Pinkie.

haha... don't forget it's CE... EA can rise from the ashes anytime they want. LOGOS and Blue Cosmos aren't going down that easily. Anyway, EA has never been a single force in CE since they consists of different Earth based factions which had their own rivalries too. Atlantic Federation is the big bully who is always at odds with The Eurasian faction. Either way, Blue Cosmos is always the villain behind the scenes.

speaking of which, as redeye mentioned... Lacus' goons come and pwn everyone and disappear, leaving everyone dumbfounded. ZOMFG? What she's doing will never resolve the conflict between Natural and Coordinators, and in fact it'll only make things worse since most of her goon pilots are coordinators even though Archangel crew are naturals.

Yuna... totally wasted character. He might have been a scheming politician which would have caused more interesting conflicts amongst Orb and EA; and not forgetting that Orb's council members are LOGOS members too... Thanks to we-know-who we got a clown instead...

^ haha... can't really say that... GW's pilots were just rebel soldiers or terrorists if you want to name them that. The only person who wants rebirth after the initial destruction was Milliardo aka I AM ZE CHAR.

Character design... don't think it's the same dude Hirai who did GS and GSD since the art work is a bit different. But I can't help but think that the art team doing the mecha animations are the same... note the flashy bling bling of the units. Speaking of the units, they look too similar to Huckenbein of SRW Thin, sleek, pointy ears and fins...

Bring back the dudes who did the new scenes for Zeta Movies please... Or at least make the entire show dark and gloomy like Stargazer... No more bling bling rainbow beam spam-u !!!

It's all rumours at the moment, and the most famous one would be Lacus and goons overwhelming the ZAFT Council. GS Eternity is proven fake, while Fortune is a horrible joke about Dullindal's personal gundam.

There's another rumour regarding movie versions about GS, but there's no official announcement from Sunrise.

I feel that we won't be seeing CE for some time since Sunrise's next Gundam project will be OO (which might be a good thing since we won't be seeing Lacus and goons for some time).

So for the time being, get yourself some UC and enjoy the true essence of Gundam.

After an absence of a couple of days, I cried when I saw the details about Gundam OO. More of that later...

My first Gundam was also Gundam W followed by GS and GSD. Yet the more I explored about the UC, the more I detested CE because it truly lost the essence of Gundam, particularly GSD. GS was still bearable in the earlier parts since it still had a Gundam-like feel.

For those who cannot accept old school cell shading anime, it's their loss. Go watch 0080 and see how beautiful and detailed the graphics are compared to GSD. Even the trailer of Gundam OO made my cringe with all the bling bling involved.

Exactly my point. If we want mindless fun of super robots pwning everyone else, we have other alternatives to watch. Just don't make Gundam into a joke.

About the blades, I too don't mind the presence of blades as a secondary weapon. In fact, none of the UC gundams carry beam sabres as their primary weapon. It's like holding a large claymore and charging towards an entire army of rifle holding enemies, yet managing to pwn them all. Sounds like GW I know, but at least GW has a strong back ground story.

Anyway... OO has zero similarities to AEUG, it is a carbon copy of Lacus' Terminal faction who has godly resources to make their own army of less than 10 MSes who pwns 1000 others.

Please OO... don't taint the name of Gundam.

Meanwhile, I've finished the first 2 chapters of Belthorchika's Children. But the Chinese translation of names as well as the sentence structures are hard to comprehend .
