your friend iPhone are not local set i think. only thing he/she can do is jailbreak and search for unlock guide. is out today.

Warning to those who don't have a data plan and plan to use imessage (like me), imessage will still be receive even u are NOT on wifi and CLOSE internet connection setting and the money will still be deducted from ur account, i got rm 3 gone by receiving msg from a canada friend.

never jailbreak b4? i dun think tht is possible if nv jailbreak b4...as this issue come from baseband problem...its either ur baseband been upgrade to diff version of baseband b4 or this is another diff issue...anyway...i pm u the method to temporary fixed d...still nd wait apple to upgrade baseband to officially fixed...or u can try downgrade to 4.3.5 then from 4.3.5 downgrade to 4.3.3 again...i tested bt i only manage to downgrade till 4.3.5 and my itune kp on showing error when trying to downgrade to 4.3.3...

tested ur method, it work bt gps function still gone...and signal still unstable...
