QUOTE(kapalterbang_737 @ Oct 14 2011, 09:15 AM) "****ing Apple, after instaling iOS 5 on to my iphone,it now say sim card not valid....**** you apple and steve for ruining everyones iphone......" 1. sim card not valid - probably either the sim card was corrupt (yeap it happened to me before... one day its ok then the other day cant detact (invalid simcard) or most probably the iphone ur friend bought is a lock set"Finally i'm able to enter the my iphone but still has no service..." "Noooo.....Its dead again....wanna throw my iphone into the dust bin...." -These are my friend status in FB this morning..anyone facing the same situation? Dunno how he update the iOS..i'm currently updating my iPad..hopefully everything goes fine.. 2. no service usually means they have their simcard locked... just unlock it and then it'll be fine or could be a lock set... 3. dead in what ways? total black? if its in total black maybe its rebooting itself.... just give it sometimes to reboot... and DONT DISCONNECT THE ITUNES IN THAT TIME.... QUOTE(kapalterbang_737 @ Oct 14 2011, 09:32 AM) not sure...nit my phone, it's my friend's locked set can be upgraded but it'll lock again... u have to JB and unlock it... if locked set cannot upgrade to iOS5? he's rich people mah... but seriously.... from my own experience... this is got to be the most tedious update i have ever encountered... i havent slept properly for two days doing this.... after many trials and errors i finally got my iphone on iOS 5.... all u need is alot of patients and guts of steel.... hahhaaha.... anyways its been a good run.... even problem after problem accrued i managed to install it and it satisfy me.... the feeling is like having a new phone all over again! hey... we do need some sort of adventures in our lives....... hahahahahaha |
