Just updated my iPhone 4 to iOS5, everything seems fine except for my lock screen's date, why it shows in Malay language instead of English language, example like 15 Oktober 2011 Sabtu, I have change my phone language to English but still it shows in Malay, the rest are shown in English except only the lock screen's date.

I don't quite understand the difference between iCloud backup and iTunes backup. Are they the same thing, and the only difference is that with iCloud, you can restore your backup even though you are far away from your iTunes/PC/Mac?

Say I want to restore my phone to a previous backup, and I'm not near to my PC, how do I restore using iCloud? I don't see any options in settings that allows me to do so.

Another thing I don't know is sending an iMessage. I start the Messages app > new message > type a friend's name who is on iOS 5, and it does not automatically show the option to send an iMessage, only a normal SMS. However, once I have sent a normal sms to that person, he or she can reply using an iMessage, after which I can also continue messaging through iMessage. But if I decide to send a message by clicking the 'new message' button again, it only allow me to send an SMS.

I like how I'm now able to delete songs from my iPhone without having to go through iTunes, although it's too easy to delete a song or whole albums accidentally. There is no confirmation before deletion.

With this feature I'm wondering if there's any way to import songs from iTunes into iPhone over wifi? Seems like the logical next step and I will love to have this feature. Any way to do it currently?

That happened to me. I got up at 3am on Thursday to download the iOS 5 update. Got up again at 6 to install it before going to work, and it busted my iPhone. I tried going to DFU mode and it was just stuck there. One whole day without a working iPhone for me lol. Anyway, just plug you iPhone into your PC. iTunes may not recognize that an iPhone is present if it's stuck in recovery mode, but jus repeat the DFU procedure again and iTunes should recognize it and start the update process again.

Anyone tried transferring songs into the iPhone over wifi, and then have iTunes display "Updating file on iPhone - 1 of 700" even though you only copied like 10 songs? I'm not sure what it's updating.

I think the notifications center is great but has one major flaw.

When you're away from your phone, or if it's in silent mode, and an sms/mail/whatever comes in, you get the notification bar on top. But if this happens when you''re not looking, you're never going to know something actually happened unless you pull down the notifications center. They really need to put a small number on the bar on top to indicate how many unread notifications you have.
