QUOTE(Kelv @ Oct 13 2011, 11:20 PM) Downloaded the .ipsw file. No need....when you update, it'll directly update IOS 5....Now press shift and click restore. Select the .ipsw file. Error. "Could not be restore because the firmware file was corrupt". Sigh, download again? Question. I currently on 4.3.3.. Must upgrade to 4.3.5 first before to 5.0? |

QUOTE(dvlzplayground @ Nov 15 2011, 11:10 AM) this is a forum. everything also got people complain haha Add to this, I realized that people using Iphone 4 and Iphone4s have different view on battery issue. Perhaps, we should wait for few days to see the changes/updates on this batter issue. Too much of rumors might confusing people to update but it's all about try and error.maybe we should have a yes/no poll about this battery drain thing to have a clearer picture how serious is this. |

Guys, some update on mine.
Usage time: 28 minutes Standby time : 10 hours 58 minutes Battery: 92% No heavy usage, just FB, foursquare and little bit massage. No background application. But one thing I could spot here is night before I sleep is 95% and this morning only drain 2% which is 93%. The reason why it drain 100% to 95% (don't count the night time) might be because the FB and foursquare because as all of we aware, FB drain the battery like blood moreover, I didn't turn on my 3G and surfing FB and foursquare by using "E". I believe that this is reason caused the battery drained up to 5%! Any other comments? What I'm going to do now is I let my phone idle at 92% battery and going to check back at 5.30pm. Want to see how many percents it drained! |

QUOTE(huiqing88 @ Nov 16 2011, 11:09 AM) This is normal. I think is time to calibrate my Iphone battery! If you did not reset/restart the device for long time, the battery reading might be out of calibration with a few percent of differences. Added on November 16, 2011, 10:11 am Mine is iPhone 4 on iOS 5.0.1. Current battery reading: 62% Usage: 4 Hours, 6 Minutes Standby: 23 Hours, 16 Minutes Status: WiFi ON all the time, Location Service ON all the time, Cellular & 3G OFF all the time. P.S. Semi-tethered Jailbroken. |
