It'll be just like Whatsapp. Only thing is that Whatsapp ties your identity down to your phone number, and places a restriction on that. That restriction can be easily removed to have Whatsapp run on non-cellular devices. iMessage would obviously use Apple ID much like BBM uses a PIN. iMessage still requires data though - either 3G or Wi-Fi. Wonder if iMessage actually brings anything to the table. Coming way too late.
