I had no battery prob like this bad with the previous version. My usage pattern is the same as before..,switch on my notification..location etc etc..it doesn't drain as fast as the newest version. As of now...it has dropped to 88%. Slightly better than
Yesterday.

Try to do hard reset..and then go to settings -->general --> reset --> Reset all settings --> start as new phone. Don't worry..you won't lose any contacts or apps installed. Just your passwords and alarm.

Added on November 16, 2011, 9:14 amAs of now...at 9.13am..battery down to 80% with just very light FB usage (comparing to before), Foursquare and whatsapp.

I really hope they fix this soon.

It's much better toady after I resetted the settings...or maybe coz i didn't go much on FB. On normal days (before iOS5.0.1), i'll have to charge rigth before lunch.

Will try to drain my battery till 0 when i get back home and charge it again.

This is what i did..to reset the settings.

At 7.30am..100%

Definitely better than the 1st time after updating. I deduce that have to reset.

Now..busy whatsapping..dropped to 48%. After 2 days (yesterday and today) of using this ios..my battery is slightly better compared to ios 5.0. Coz i used to always start charging my phone (when heavy usage of whatsapp & FB) by about 12+pm. Though not as good as ericpires.

My battery was 100% at 1am...7am..98%...today hardly go on fb (which sucks like there's no tmrw), some foursquare, emails, safari..now at 3.49pm 34%.

Not as good as yours..but slightly better than previously and when just updated the 5.0.1.
