Does this mean it will be like unlimited free messages to iDevices users? I'm not sure how it works but I always thought it'll be something like whatsapp, whereby we'll be sending texts via cellular data/WIFI, since iDevices like iPod don't have a phone number, hence how to receive message if not via data?

Few more hours to iOS 5, can't wait for it Hope untethered jailbreak arrives as soon as possible, I want ultimatum dreamboard osx lion theme on mine, I dreamt that the jailbreak arrives together with iOS5, now thats a good dream

Apple unlikely will release iOS 5 before 10.7.2 and iTunes 10.5 is out first!

Dont think it will be released in Malaysia at 12am, i think it only goes by US time, so no Ios5 till tomorrow

well apple should be releasing it from their servers at 12AM pacific time.

WHEN iOS 5 update comes out,
1. New iTunes will also be released to support iOS5. Ya go download...
2. To update to iOS5, just plug in ur iDevice to your pc/mac with iTunes opened and select update. Wait la for one whole day if your internet super slow and if ur iDevice got alot of stuff to restore. Note: those who jb will lose their jb.

For me currently jb 4.1. Waiting for iOS 5 to come out, don't mind losing jb. cheers =]

I usually wait for few hours after release and read blog sites to make sure update takde masalah.

Plus iMessage uses your Apple ID which requires configuring with iCloud...

Why? iMessage is used in all iDevices.

iPad and iPod Touch does not support phone number... So use apple id(app store email).
If ur fren gt iDevice then sure have apple id 1, that u hv to add to his/her email into his/her contact in your iDevice.
(that is if he/she has also configured her iMessage)
