Any particular model to recommend? Is it worth to go for Michelin XM2?

Me just changed from XM1 to XM2 2mth ago. 185/60/14, 4 units for RM185/pc.

Opinion so far: Improved water dispersion n noise but slight degration of grip in d corners.

For rm150, think CC5, Hankook V8 or Yokohama C-Drive 2 might fit d bill above the usual GY Duraplus/NCT5, Dunlop J3.

Where you change them? Is XM2 185/65/14 same price with yours? In RM150 range, which of the 3 you would recommend?
*
Changed at B'worth, Pg. But think price is almost d same or possibly cheaper at Klang.

Downgraded from 185/65/14 coz thick tyre walls look odd n was quoted RM10+- more than 60 series. Not much difference in comfort also.

My pick would b CC5 for comfort or Yoko for slightly aggresive drivin (but d warned tat Yoko rubber is a bit soft)

Can I use 185/60/14 or 175/65/14 while my spare tire is 185/65/14? My car is Corolla SEG 1997.

Wat a coincidence! Mine also SEG.

Anyway back to ur Q. I swapped d best 65 series wit my ol 60 series ol bald spare tire. I personally dun use spares as main tires for long term n get any punchure fixed within 2 days. But d slight size difference can be felt if u use it n not advisable for any highway speeds.

S'how i got a hunch tat our std 14" iron rims cannot fit 175. But even if i'm wrong, think d available models for tat size is much limited compared to 185. Usually see GY NCT5, Yoko A Drive, CC1, or XM1 on them.

185-175 combination never tried. But did try 155-175 pairing 13" on Sunny b4, ok only if drive within city speeds, more than tat tend to sway more esp when road surface not consistant.

If it wasnt for d price at d last moment, I would hv gone for BS AR10 (RM175+-) or CC5 (RM160+-).

Other shops wanted >rm195 which I already personally think was overpriced for a 14" 'premium' bread n butter rubber n already enroaching into 15" price. For alignment n balancing, roughly 8 or 9 shops out of 10 would gv foc whenever u take a set of 4.
