Hi, My Hilux has suddenly developed problems after running smoothly for 6 years. It appears to be the fuel pump. The vehicle loses power and sometimes it appears to almost die and them move again. This morning, it became worse. The engine become so weak that I stalled on a slope. Simply not enough power to climb the ramp. I finally reversed down the ramp. The engine then died completely. A while later it started again. But I suspect strongly that it is the fuel pump. My questions: Can the fuel pump be serviced? Where is the best place to do that? ANy recommendations and advice? yes, I know. But I still would like to get it repaired. Question is: where should I take it other than authorised service centres?
