guys, my seagate 160gb sata is going to die soon(just use it for 6 months already got many bad sectors...cry.gif)
i need to buy a new one to replace it
budget rm250, any recommendation?
between, my mobo only support sata1.
samsung, WD or seagate again?

the condition is even worse now, the system will lag after a while quite frequently. doh.gif
lotsa damaged sectors found with HDtune.

i'm using Shuttle SFF silentx 240w psu.
this is a realiable psu after i did a research in some forums.
no choice now, i think the hdd is hopeless now.
my new hdd will come on this sunday after that i'll send it for rma. yawn.gif

just installed my new samsung sata2 160gb.
it's really really queit.
performance?
i feel it's about the same with my previous seagate sata 160gb 7200.7
