iz it normal for hdd to have this sound?? because my other hdd (maxtor, western digital) never have this type of problem, no sound at all, very silence...

i got this hard disk from dell..got it from one of my uncle..after installed it..it is dam noisy, especially when a loading aplication, game or program, can hear the hdd spinning sound..it is a 160gb seagate hdd..
iz it normal for hdd to have this sound?? because my other hdd (maxtor, western digital) never have this type of problem, no sound at all, very silence... ps: sukhoi37 remember me in bs? |

so now i get it, companies like dell, hp use OEM products...and usually its quite noisy, but so far no problem, working fine only the noise can be irritatating sometimes..but it cant be called as rejected hardware right?? haha
anyway, dell uses philips dvd-rw, another oem product which cant be bought in the market... |
