How's the reliability for Samsung?
I have a WD 160GB in an external case, now full already so planning to get a 500GB one. Have been usung it for 3-4 years with no problems.

I've seen reviews saying that WD Green Product is more suitable for external HD as it runs slower, hence cooler. But I wonder how much slower it is? Will it be a very noticeable different in the real world instead of on paper?
Also, I have an idea that slower HD may be more reliable. Haha... sounds stupid ya... |
