guys,what is NCQ?

planning to buy new hdd soon but dunno should take with NCQ or not...

guys,need opinion here...

i got seagate 40gb.work time for this hdd already 11mth.40gb is too small for me now so i need to buy bigger hdd..so,i'm confusing which 1 should i choose because my budget is below rm300...

option 1:
buy seagate 160gb=rm290
total money spend=rm290

option 2:
buy seagate 200gb=rm325
sell my 40gb=market price ard rm80~rm100
total money spend:~rm250

my target is 200gb and my mobo only support pata...

hope u guys can give opinions abt this.thx...

hehe,just bought pata 160gb seagate 7200.9...the old 40gb become backup hdd n storing mp3s...

this hdd is single platter rite?

my Q is,should i enable smart in bios for this new hdd coz my old hdd i disable the option...and,whats the pros enabling it??
