Personally I like WD and has them with 2x80Gb Pata, 3x80Gb Sata2 and 1x250Gb Sata2. Both temp at 32-40C with Smart Enable. Samsung and Hitachi is good also as it has same performance like WD but hate Maxtor (produces more heat even at outside case) and Seagate (had experienced with it and has worst performance). no offence dude..
