any experience problems with WD hard disk or not??? like when playing games or just surfing internet it suddenly just hang. its getting very annoying. was playing assassin's creed when it hangs.

er... hang as in really cannot do anything anymore. plus usb have no power. all hang. really sien ad dunno what to do..... help!!!!

k this is my situation. before this happens. oc my cpu. but then i notice something wrong ad with my pc etc slowing down. so i trun back all to default but the problem persist. i think because of my seagate which has a bad sector. but i dc the hdd ad but still the same thing happening to me. so i am kinda in a tight situation... i dunno whats wrong and what to do....

no not just gaming. even thought when i am surfing net also will hang. dust maybe la but impossible for it to overheat just like that or something. care to explain what else could contribute to this issue?

er bro.... i always clean my com... atleast once a week. um.... any 1 knows whether bad sectors could cause all the problems i have?? anyway to solve this??

oh finally some1 has a problem like mine. mine hangs when i am using it too. i wonder can claim warranty or not???

er no sound but the prob is the same it hangs whenever it can. plus i did a scan and found some bad sectors... haih... just bought around 2 months ago.... well i guess its just my luck

hmmmm.... well i guess it really depends on luck whether u get a good hard drive or not. my seagate external hard drive... has this cracking sound but so far no problem at all... maybe its a spinning time bomb waiting to blow.... haih...

er... for the western digital???i got no idea. didnt check at all... but really la... if u wanna get a hard disk. go get a seagate. my seagate of 2 years still up and running with not much problems. really good build quality. a friend of mine got a 320 gb seagate for only 220 or is it 240... very good deal

i hate doing rmas for hard disk. i dont mind the 1 month period. but sometimes the item is back early but the shop doing the rma for wont call me. i end up with no com to play for more than 1 months plus plus. oh ya. can any1 tell me how much would a raptor cost? and how big is the capacity?tq
