QUOTE(yupio @ Sep 26 2006, 03:43 PM) there's a known issue for WD SATA II 16Mb. Cache 250Gb (SE16) the WD2500KS model where the temperature will be around 8 to 10 degrees higher. sorry to say that.... WD HDD is in my banlist... It was due to firmware issue where the actual temperature is 8 to 10 deg lower. I dun have the article with me but you should find some info if u google around for it. So in short, no worries on the temperature.....WD are known for its low temp and low noise....the SE16 series are the best HDDs I have used. Been using the WD2500KS (250Gb) and WD3200KS (320Gb) with full satisfaction. die in 3 month... now in factory... This post has been edited by davidhomestudio: Sep 26 2006, 11:01 PM |

QUOTE(6GDominator @ Sep 27 2006, 02:12 PM) you see which HDD can store more things loh. usually for me, i will set the biggest HDD to be master. i think u should put the smaller as Master... coz master read n write more then other HDD... so it will be hotter n easy to Kong... if ur bigger HDD kong...
