i'd been using maxtor for about 4 years..still got no prob..i think the main reason they are still in good working condition is that i kept them not 'overheat'..just put big fan aside them and kept air flowing through.. normal condition of them usually is around 30 degree celcius.. i think u all should try putting fan..very usefull

owh..it is? before this i think maxtor is more reliable than WD. thats why i always wondering why WD is more expensive than maxtor..thank God my hd still ok huhu
