If i wanted to setup RAID on my PC, should i be getting the HDD that is the same size, specs and brand as my current HDD in my PC?

Will a single 75.4GB Raptor be better than a RAID0 Sata2 HDD?

Not sure whether this is the correct place to place this question or not but i hope you guys can help me out here..

My problem is, i have loose screw holes on my HDD drive. The hole that are used to screw the HDD to the HDD rack are already loose and its impossible to use it already. Due to some noob/dumb action by me who do not know that there is a difference between 5.25" screws and HDD bay screws.

Now, i could not tighten the screw into the bay in order to keep the HDD there. Is there by any chance to fix this problem or maybe even add some devices to make it stick in place?Thanks..
