Hello, my maxtor 120bg fail on me lately after 2 years of using.... now looking for new hard disk....

actually i was looking for 320gb hdd. is there anyone try the samsung HD321KJ model? how about WD3200YS (raid edition)?

so which one should i pick?

hi tatayoung, wat capasity u r using? how spoil is urs? mine is got bad sector n after i low level format it, the bad sector seem to go away but dono it will ok for how long.... mine also got a case fan that blowing on it but still got like this... just hope that the bad sector is repaired....

by the way wat hdd u using now? wat brand do u recommend?

skylinestar, if got weird noise mean the hdd going to die soon.... it might be cause by the motor... like no more liquid or oil inside already... so soon or later the motor die n everything bye bye....

hi coolblade... there not such thing to refill the liquid because if u open the hdd then i will spoil the hdd... unless it was done by the manufacturer where they got the environment n the tools to change the motor or fix but that will never happen because they are not going to do that...
