i have been using a maxtor fireball 40GB for 2 years,no problem,accept that i'm running out of hdd space,just hope my hdd wont become a real fireball

i just bought a Seagate Barracuda 80GB SATA,funny thing is, my SpeedFan detects the seagate 'fitness' is at 50% while it detects my maxtor 40GB Fireball PATA 'fitness' is full,what the hell just happened? my old maxtor is healthier than my new seagate?

my new seagate will have the 'tak...tak....tak...' sound when using bt,or donwloading via limewire,other time,its as stealthy as a stingray(correct me if i use the wrong term),only thing is,since i bought it from pc fair,so no warranty card or whatsoever,scared cannot claim warranty,so.....no warranty card can claim warranty arr?

BTW, beside the highway(forgot the name of the highway) got 1 building with a big 'WD Western Digital' logo is a factory or WD RMA arr?
