i will ALWAYS choose Seagate unless i want a WD raptor.
the most reliable hard disks ever. according to surveys, maxtor is reported to have the highest failure rates. (and yes, my one and only maxtor owned died once and was RMA'ed.) 2nd is followed by WD. and lastly the lowest failure rate is Seagate. cant remember about the others. all the Seagates i've owned in the past 8 years that i can remember, none have failed. i'd rather have a hard disk that lasts longer than to save 50 bucks and have it die on me too soon and bring my data along to its death bed.
