Bought a new Seagate 250GB hard drive from Low Yat last week. Installed it the next day and it just wouldn't work. I think it was just my luck that I got the 1 faulty drive in the whole shipment. Anyway, went to their website, put in an RMA and sent my hard drive to the centre in Menara Summit. Received a receipt confirmation email 2 days later (sent it on a Friday) and still didn't get a replacement after another 2 days. I sent in a complaint to Seagate Malaysia and they forwarded it to the regional manager. That was yesterday. Today, the regional manager emailed me to say that the drive I bought was currently out of stock and it would take another 2 weeks to get new stock. So, he offered me a 400GB hard drive in exchange!! Now happily waiting for new 400 GB hard drive to arrive.
