the most scary thing about harddisk is they just died without any symptoms .... i used to have 1 maxtor and 2 western digital and 1 seagate .... they serve me well and still under warranty period ... but i guesss we cant just predict ... they died just overnight ... unrecoverable ... really sad ... all data gone! ... is there any harddisk that can promise will not died without any symptoms for 3 years time? ..... guess not ..... depends on luck ...
