seagate's SMART fitness readings are different from other HDD manufacturersthats why you will see the fitness reading far lower compare to other brand of HDDs
i have two seagates, one maxtor, one samsung and another WD connected together
and i found out the seagates' fitnesse is the lowest among all
even on my friend's comp also the same thing
