eg9 much better with tougher chasis..

as for my eg nothing much special but recently got technical problem myb u guys in here can help/enlighten me abit.. my eg got problem to start when the engine is hot that happen when i make a stop for fuel..

some of my friend said tat myb my spark plug.. some said its my alternator IC but i already change my alternator..

help plz..

so u a lude loving guy eh, its a 2 door ride.. like that i suggest eg 2 doors like TS one, EG6.. original EG6 kinda expensive but worth it, if not mistaken its a racing spec like EG9 means tougher chasis..

two of my lil bros own EK3/4 @ EK9 convert to DC5/K20A engine.. and other 1 EG3 @ EG6 convert with b16a..

usually that is a normal price for ej/ek year 96-97.. last time i got offer for 25k from used car the lowest at that time..

if u can find already convert to 99' spec or virs much better la..

Added on November 8, 2011, 8:47 amthat price is consider cheap for an eg9.. nowaday the price range for original eg9 is around 25-27k depend on upgrades/condition.. spare some cash for extra service like do top overhaul.. change to quality radiator & hoses since honda is known for overheating problem..

yeah, h22a roadtax alone rm5xx.. 99' spec & virs bodykit it is much diff bodykit compare from stock 96' & 97' spec..

22-23k actually price range for eg9 convert, mean not an original eg9.. coz my lil bro bought eg3 convert to eg6 just for 25k while original eg6 stock condition is around 30k.. original actually much expensive than converted.. if u got that price for an original eg9 then it is a must buy ride..

Added on November 8, 2011, 11:33 amstock ek3 is 95' with 1.5L engine if not mistaken.. yeah 5xx 1 year r.tax for 2.2L cars.. yeah charming, but eg6 more sexy for 2 doors ride.. maintenence cost kinda lower also..

20k eg8 standard engine..? if b16a, yeah its so so cheap..

mind tell me ur budget..?

nowaday lubang so deep lor scare to go in..

also ask owner to send the car to puspakom for approval road worthy.. i tink every 2nd car that to be change owner have to do so.. atleast save ur time & cost..

i mean eg/eh convert eg9 bady part only then can get 20k.. b16a need topup $$..

nowaday eg convert to b16a (auto) pun hard to get 23k but not impossible coz last time saw ads sold for 20k but car condition not cun leh..

the most important thing the chasis is no karat, u know la this car so old de over 15 years.. ask ur pomen to come with u to inspect the car for ware n tare from there u can nego with owner.. belanja ur pomen ns lemak ayam n kopi 0 suda la.. if give rm50 pun ok dari sakit kepala repair sana sini..

cons..? hmm, myb u will hear mechanical mouse noise 'nyit nyet nyit' while cruising.. use DW40 spray to eleminate that mouse, if u can find it la.. LOL

yes, some integra DC2 part can be plug N play on eg.. engine & bay parts, absober, dashboard, ekzos, etc halfcut condition plus many many many aftermarket part.. DC5 engine also can fit if u got big budget.. BUT DC5/k20a'R is suitable on EK chasis for stability.. lagi shiok if put on ES..

DC5 k20a my bro bought for only 15k that bcoz his fren want to swap back to b16a on his ek coz the car is driven by his wife.. so hes ek to my bro ek just plug n play mounting already siap de.. nowaday DC5 h/cut cost around 20k, if u got cash sure noproblem.. FD2R 2nd sell 150-160k, installemnt to bank much better coz not everybody got 20-30k cash..
