30k...u probably dun have much choices especially if u wanna buy one fast... most are above 30k

unless ur willing to wait n slowly find one that suits u n ur budget.

there are those under ur budget but without B series VTECs..

as for versions.....doesnt really matter... of course the preferred one is the EG6... but finding an original EG6 is difficult. but converted ones are good too.....so in terms of versions... it really doesnt matter that much

maintenance is basically the same as every other car...regular servicing etc n the car will serve u well. however, it is an old car.. so there will be wear n tear issues. but once u get them solved.. shouldnt be a problem. spare parts availability is abundance... some parts can even get brand new if u know where to look.

theft list...yes unfortunately. though not as bad as Satria GTi....but its not just down to EG Hatches....alot of Honda's are getting stolen lately... as for security, do wat u need to do.. some people even remove their ECUs from the car every time they get out of the car. but basically just be mindful of where u park and take necessary security measures

there relly isnt much u can tell from that... otherwise, bring a mechanic to check the chassis for accidents, potong etc etc... u dont need a mechanic to know this type of specific car... just a good mechanic will do... it is after all like any other a car at the end day

mechanically u kinda have to drive it...alot of problems usually wont appear when ur checking it... but will appear after driving it for awhile.

as for the big vtec thingy.. make sure its the twin cam aka DOHC version... coz the price is quite cheap for a DOHC VTEC EG Hatch. but even if its not...its still fine especially for that price.
