QUOTE(mADmAN @ Oct 8 2011, 08:12 PM) why bother censoring? just say la SHELL and CALTEX but yeah...shell to me (n my friends) basically sux... a friend of mine with B16B experiences pinging with Shell RON97... switch to petronas RON97...pinging gone. same goes for another friend with MIVEC 1.8. |

Hi All FDer, i found out that my FD1's engine oil level reduce around 25%(1/3) from the engine oil dipstick level indicator after running 8k millage.... Currently I'm using the ENOES fully syn 5w-40. whereby this car previously used semi-syn 5w30 all the while.... my car currently clocked at 119k km.. Pls advice whether i should continue to use the fully syn oil or revert back to semi-syn.. as going to have major service for my FD1...
thanks. |

QUOTE(ZeroSP @ Nov 6 2011, 06:33 PM) Lol... That's way too long already for me... I flushed within 30K... The normal ATF Z1 can't even last more than 30K. This post has been edited by e_k1117: Nov 6 2011, 07:58 PM |

QUOTE(mADmAN @ Dec 29 2011, 11:44 AM) if u have a problem with the rear camber then without changing the camber of course ur rear tire will continue to makan la. i also not sure what might be the problem causing the tyre eat inside. or is that the common issue for all the FD1? bcoz of the wishbone suspension.??i guess its just a civic thing about the rear camber... actually alot of cars cant adjust rear camber if not mistaken....even my EG needs a rear camber kit |

Hi All FD1 user here, my FD1(clocked 158k km) currently suffer from vibration(even rear passenger can feel it) during the moment where compressor kick in. Observed that the RPM slightly drop from 750 --> 700 during the kick in..
1.Cleaned TB at Honda SC not able to resolve the issue still. 2.Compressor was changed 3 months ago. 3.The right hydraulic engine mounting changed during ~110k km. SC guy told me it might be due to the AF sensor malfunction causing this. advice needed from u guys whether what could be the possibility else.... |
