QUOTE(OhNooy @ May 5 2012, 09:04 PM) not really sure about EJ/EK model QUOTE(cubiclecarbonate @ May 5 2012, 09:18 PM) if you have experience of replacing timing belt you can DIY but the cost is not about the labouris the part that to replace at 100k is expansive. timing belt + TDC & crankshaft sensor + water pump + oil seal + tensional bearing set that will make a hole at your wallet QUOTE(Arkaine @ May 6 2012, 12:37 AM) my eg got ngek... ngeeeek sound when turning the steering to the left and right.... at 1st i suspected the power steering master pump faulty... let me guess either lower arm bush / tie rod or tie rod end / absorber top mountbut after replace them still got sound... what is the problem... steering arm link?? go check this 3 item 1st |

QUOTE(OhNooy @ May 5 2012, 12:15 AM) From what I see, D16 is quite common for sale in the market (for those not yet converted their engines). So for this D series, I checked the Wikipedia which is around 110hp only, just like ordinary 1.6 car. Is this engine recommended to get a VTEC version or non-VTEC version? Big difference between the two versions? get vtec version better can add kick when ur overtake/serious mood price no big differ imho |
